Question:
Have a new 3700 gvw camper trailer with ~470 lb tongue weight rating. Thinking of buying Blue Ox load distribution hitch rated at 750 tongue weight rating. My car has OEM Mercedes receiver. Will this work with the standard OEM receiver?

You generally want to have your tongue weight towards the middle of the prescribed weight range of your weight distribution hitch and your trailer tongue weight should generally be between 10% and 15% of the GVWR of the loaded trailer. For that reason, and because the Blue Ox # BXW0753 is designed for underslung couplers, it's not the best solution.
Instead, I recommend using the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - Clamp On - 6,000 lbs GTW, 550 lbs TW # BXW0550, which is designed for trailers with tongue weights between 350-lbs and 550-lbs. The shank on the Sway Pro is designed to fit in the 2" hitch receiver on your 2015 Mercedes Benz ML350 and will clamp on trailer frames that are between 3" and 6" tall.
I do recommend checking the tongue weight of your fully loaded trailer using a tongue weight scale like the # e99044 to confirm that your loaded trailer does not exceed those specs. If you find that your trailer's tongue weight is more than 550-lbs, or your trailer frame is larger/smaller than 3"-6" tall, please let me know and I can help you locate a more appropriate system.
I've linked a review video of Blue Ox Weight Distribution systems that you may want to have a look at, as well.
