Adjusting Sensitivity of Blue Ox Patriot Supplemental Braking System

Question:

is there a adjustment for the sensitivity? the braking system doesnt seem to apply the brakes unless i am braking hard. If i am traveling down hill with my Jake brake on it doesnt apply the brakes on my tow vehicle at all.

You can absolutely adjust the braking pressure of your Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. You simply will adjust the number on the remote with the greater number applying more pressure. The braking is only applied as your tail lights are applied, so you will want to note that using your Jake brake/engine brake will not apply the brakes on your supplemental braking system. You will either need to apply the brake pedal or use the manual override on your remote to have the system activate.
