Recommended force and sensitivity setting on Blue Ox Patriot when flat towing a 2013 Honda Fit behind a Sprinter chassis 24foot motorhome - KM 24?

The Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System # BLU37TR is set at a Force setting of 5 from the factory. I reached out to the manufacturer about a recommendation when being used with your 2013 Honda Fit and they recommended dialing it back to a 2 or 3.

It is a good idea to test the system out before traveling as well. Take your motorhome and Honda Fit to a large open area and test the Force setting. Set the Force to 2 or 3 and test the brakes and adjust up or down from there depending on how the brakes engage/feel when tested.
