Recommended Hitch for Carrying Bike Rack on 2020 BMW X3

Question:

Hi. I wanted to know what types of hitches are available for a 2020 BMW X3 30i? I plan to attach my bike rack. Also how difficult is it to install? Thanks.

For your 2020 BMW X3 30i, I'd recommend the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13387. The installation is probably beyond the reach of the typical do-it-yourself-er, because the rear bumper and fascia need to be temporarily removed. I'll link to the installation instructions and an install video. A rivet gun for plastic rivets will also be needed, so this is probably best handled by your favorite mechanic unless you're super handy.

The Draw-Tite # 76226 you'd looked at would also fit, but in my opinion Curt does a slightly nicer job on their powder coating, which is why I'd recommend their hitch. Both hitches would install in a very similar manner and the installations share the same level of complexity.
