Thule T2 Replacement Hook for 29 inch Tires

Question:
On this Hook, what are the dimensions? More specifically, the original Hook older version on the Thule I have for my rack, is 13 inches in length and it will not accommodate my 29 inch tire. I need a hook that is at least 16 inches in length.

The replacement arm # 753-3583 is 12 inches from the inside of the hook to the end where it attaches to the ratchet arm, so it is an exact replacement and there aren't any longer versions available. The Thule T2 bike rack TH9045 should be able to accommodate your 29 inch tires.
Your best option is to make sure to clamp the hook as close to the bike frame as possible on your tire to ensure you have room to ratchet the hook down fully.
