Question:

I received my Swagman Current, and it was very easy to put together and use. However, with our bikes loaded, the brake and turn signals on my vehicle are completely blocked. I do not like the idea of the portable magnetic lights that stick up, because I believe I would have to remove them when both loading and unloading the bikes so they are not knocked about, and also completely remove them when at a trail-head so they are not stolen. I found some strip, stick on lights that could work and could be secured, however they are 7 inches long, plus another 1/2 inch for the wiring harness, and when installed we cannot spread the tire cradles out far enough to accommodate the rear bike. What do you recommend?

The best solution we have would be a cargo carrier light kit like the part # 98174LED with the mounting brackets # e98943 attached to the bottom of the rear crosstube rail on your rack.
