Perhaps the easiest light kit to install, the sealed light units snap into the built-in mounting brackets on Draw-Tite, Rola and Tow Ready cargo carriers and then plug into the existing 4-pole trailer connector on the vehicle.
Features:
Light Kit Installation
Step 1
Mount rubber grommets on both sides of cargo carrier tray making sure grommets are seated securely.
Step 2
Press tail lamps into grommets until seated securely on both sides of carrier tray.
Step 3
Route plug with green wire under cargo carrier to the passenger side (right) and plug into cargo carrier tail lamp.
Route plug with yellow wire under cargo carrier to the driver side (left) and plug into cargo carrier tail lamp.
Step 4
With supplied cable ties, secure all wiring to the bottom of the cargo carrier.
Please note: With the off-set Y-harness, one wire lead (about 3' long) is run straight to a light, the other lead (about 6' long) is run along the back edge of the carrier before it curves up to the second light. On the 40101 and 59502 cargo carriers, the wires come up through the carriers' mesh floor to attach to the back of the lights. On the Tow Ready carriers 63153 and 63155, the tighter mesh floor is not large enough for the plug to pass through. Therefore run the wire leads under the platform to the lights, then up the front of the carrier and around to the back of the light. This also helps prevent the wires from getting pinched by the cargo. On vehicles where the 4-pole trailer connector is tucked under the vehicle, a 4-pole extension may be required to connect the two plugs. See 'related items.'

Good price, easy to install..........lights pull out to easy and may not hold up
nice addition to the rack. fits well. good quality. fast shipping.
Plain and simple and will work great! Easy to order and got in a day before I was promised.
Great value! The drivers side wires are a little short but it still reaches.
Super LightsThe lights were very easy to install and provide an added measure of safety for a great price
Very dispappointed that there's no easy way to replace the bulbs if they would burn out. Hopefully that never happens.
The trailer lights fit great as long as you take time to figure out the wire lengths.
Easy to use. Glad it made the cargo carrier more visible.
Easy to install. Very bright. I can't imagine the LED type are worth the extra money. These are excellent!
Driver side light wire too short? - remove the light, rotate it 180 degrees, and reinstall it. This will give you 6 or more inches.
I would have said it was excellent but the cable is to short. I purchased that extended cable adapter and it made the difference.
They were available by e-mails prior of my purchase and responded to my questions. The shipment was quick, enough secure. Items were as described.
They did follow up with e-mails on my receipt.
It's great for what it is... until you need to change a bulb... the lenses seem to be permanently glued to the shells, so it's impossible to pull them apart and change the bulbs. Am I missing something? I mean, what the heck kind of design is that?
The product was received promptly and exactly as described by etrailer.

Same problem, bought these for my Rola rack to use on a family trip to the home of the mouse in Florida, LOVE THE ROLA RACK, LOVE THE ETRAILER LARGE CARGO BAG, and ETRAILER as a whole is AWESOME!!!! ........That said, WISH I HADNT WASTED THE MONEY ON THE LIGHTS!!.......they stick too far into the cargo area because the plug connection is on the rear of the light.......If the connection was on the side vice the back then it wouldnt be so bad, Just like everyone else, wire to plug is too short so I ended up buying an extender so it wouldnt be in the way and look like crap........Left TX and on second day get to the home of Mickey and notice the passenger light is out....the lights were in use for all of two days.....just got home and had a few to look at the housing thinking I would a new bulb in....I do no see any way to get it apart without using implements of destruction - can see enough of the bulb to tell it is blown. Will probably trash the lights, go to the trailer shop down the road and build my own set with bulbs that can be changed....description really should read DISPOSABLE LIGHT KIT..........I really like etrailer but this product needs some serious improvement!!!!
