I have read that if my 2017 Chevy Equinox’s brake lights come on I need a relay??? Is this true??

Your 2017 Chevy Equinox does not need a brake-light relay when it is being flat towed because it has a separate lighting system (brakes and turn signals are different lights instead of the same one). There are a number of parts you do need to flat tow your '17 Equinox, however, which I'll list for you.
