What size are the mounting holes in the e-track, so I know what size bolts or screws to buy?

The mounting holes on the E-Track such as # E19147 are 1/4 inch in diameter. The type and length fastener you should use will depend on the surface material and thickness you are attaching it to. For example, if the surface was ACQ treated wood you could use # TFX250ACQ which is 2-1/2 inches long.
