Can you explain how to add a Curt tow hitch to a ‘17 Sprinter 2500 with factory step? Currently there is a conflict with the exhaust pipe. Will I need to bend or modify the exhaust? I’d love to get details on how to make this work. Thanks.

We have the Curt hitch part # 13358 which is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 2500 with a factory step. If you check out the attached picture you can see how it fits with the factory exhaust setup.

The Curt hitch part #13358 is recessed under the step bumper like you can see in the attached picture but it's not recessed to the point it wouldn't work well. It wouldn't interfere with the camera setup either.

Hey Michael, yes the hitches from the 2025 Sprinter fits also fit the 2026 models like the etrailer #e82TR. We haven't carried them over quite yet in our fitguide but we will be soon. What are you planning on using the hitch for?
