Does Optronics LED Trailer Light Use Reflector Ring

Question:
A couple years ago I bought the Optronics STL178RB Glolight taillights. At the time I was interested in buying the reflective ring part A78RXB to enhance it, but I was told then, that Optronics didn’t make a ring for the STL178RB. However, since it was two years ago I wanted to check and see if they’ve since started making one, and if so, do you guys carry it? ... But if not, are the A78RXB reflectors at least the same size and simply slip over the top of the STL178RB taillights and I could just “Jerry-rig” it to fit by using silicone adhesive to secure it? Also, I’ve never installed the STL178RB yet, as my trailer is taking forever to get ready... Are they even legal for a 92”-wide trailer, or do I need a traditional rectangular RV taillight with a built-in side-marker and built-in license plate light? I already have red and amber side-marker lights, with reflective covers, and planning to install a separate license plate light. Thank you!

The GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL178RB will not work with the Snap-on Reflector Ring for STL78RB Series LED Lights # A78RXB as it will not fit the light. If you wanted to use that reflector ring you would need the Optronics LED Trailer Tail Light # STL78RB.
This is similar to the GloLight but has a lip around the edge that allows it to accept the Reflector Ring.
You can use these lights for your trailer as long as they have the side marker lights. I have added a link to a help article on trailer lighting regulations which you might want to check out as well.
