Is Installation of Fan Motor Assembly K8017-00 Done From Top

Question:
Installation/ Fan Motor Assembly K8017-00 for 2012 Airstream Sport. Hi, does the fan assembly insert in from the exterior top of the trailer, or do I remove the fan housing from the inside of the trailer? Thank you

When installing the Replacement Fan Motor Assembly Kit for Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Fans # FVK8017-00 you can remove the fan housing if you like, and this will be easier if done from the top of the roof as opposed to inside the trailer.
