The Replacement Fan Motor Assembly Kit for Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Fans # FVK8017-00 has the same hole spacing as the fan on your 6500 model so it will work. The diameter of the fan is a different than the original but it is the correct replacement. This fan is the only replacement that Fan-Tastic Vents offers and it is designed for compatibility with all their models. I've attached the dimensions to assist.

Hi I have the fantastic fan 6500 w rain sensor and the lift motor keeps spinning but will not engage and lift the lid. Is there a replacement motor for this please?

@MarkE You will want the Replacement 17-rpm Lift Motor for Dometic FanTastic B Series Roof Vents with Powered Lifts - White # FVK6010-81. This lift motor is designed for fans 2014 or newer, if yours is older than 2014 you will just need to swap the wires. Any big summer adventures? Where did you go, or where are you headed?

@KateF Thank you for the info. Once I started to take it apart I found the issue was not the motor assembly but the arm assembly ! I will have to get on the roof to see why the arm has disengaged. Thank you We are camping in Saskatchewan Canada

@MarkE If you take a look at it and it's the arm itself you will want the Replacement Lift Arm for Dometic FanTastic Roof Vents # FVK8011-05. If you happen to have a flat lid and not a dome (like my research shows), you will want # FVK8014-05. It is beautiful up there! I don't know first hand, but my son has been up there with his camp and loved it. Hope you have a great trip!
