Do I Need to Replace Fan-Tastic Vent Fan From Top of RV

Question:

Fantastic Fan model 1250 on 2015 NuCamp Tab 320S We have a fan that says Model 1250. Is it possible to replace the motor assembly from the inside of the trailer? It is very difficult to climb on top of our tear trailer. Also, the outside cover of the fan assembly is caulked in place. Does the caulking need to be removed in order to get to the fan from the top? Thanks.

The Replacement Fan Motor Assembly Kit for Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Fans # FVK8017-00 is what you'll need for your 1250 model and you need access to the roof of your NuCamp to accomplish this as the mounting locations for the hardware can only be access from the top.

You won't need to remove any of the caulking for this installation - you would only need to do that if you're seeing leaks happening or if you were replacing the entire vent assembly itself.
