Question:

Hello and hope all is well. I have a 2019 ranger supercrew lariat without a tow package or hitch. The wiring kit C56431 looks to be the choice to roll with and hitch I have picked out is easy to choose from website. Question I have…..I will need a 4 way option on this plug as I have a 4 way flat on my mainly used trailer. I don’t want to cut into wiring and like the plug and play option. Is there a kit available for this rig with 7 and 4 or do I have to go with a 7 way to 4 converter? Other option could be just a factory inline like the C56431 in 4 way flat only? Thanks

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56431 is an excellent option for a 2019 Ford Ranger. It comes with a 7-way trailer connector so in order to add a 4-way as well while keeping the 7-way you'd need to replace the trailer connector that comes with using the Curt T-Connector part # C55774 and then you'd be set since it also comes with a mounting bracket.
