Recommended Kayak Carrier on 2013 Ford Explorer Factory Roof Rack

What product/s, Yakima or Thule or other do you recommend to mount a single or two kayaks on a 2013 Ford Explorer with the factory cross bars? Would like to use a j-hook style if possible. Kayaks are basic low end from Menards. Understand I may need a j-hook holder that attaches directly to the factory cross bars or an adapter first and then the j-hook kayak holder.

For your 2013 Ford Explorer with factory roof rack I recommend the etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier - Folding - Universal Mount # e98878. This is great quality for the cost and has the folding feature as well.
If you really want a Thule or Yakima carrier, then I recommend going with the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier # Y04073 which will work well for you.
