Is There a Standard Profile Setting that Curt Echo Can Use with Trailer
Updated 07/07/2020 | Published 07/06/2020 >
Question:
I have a 2020 nissan pathfinder and a sonic SL149VML ultra light trailer 3000 Ibs weight. Can you suggest a generic setting output, sensitivity. I used the profile 1 setting O 32 S 4. Secondly before parking the trailer on a sloped driveway should I disconnect the brake controller and then park the trailer? Thanks

I would recommend you run through the setup process outlined in the attached instructions so that you have settings that work as ideally as possible with the trailer you have now. There isn't a generic setting we can recommend for a trailer based on weight as across all trailer weights the sensitivities of the brakes vary widely.
I also attached a link to a review video for more info as well.
There would be no need to disconnect the controller before parking on a sloped driveway. Once you put the vehicle into park the brakes will let up.
