is the a-921b the replacement for the c921 bulb?

Yes, the Replacement Bulb from Optronics part # A921B will replace the C921 bulb. Or, you could get a Replacement Bulb # 30-90-021. If you check out the product picture you will notice that the bulb has C921 printed on it. Either should work, but if you look closely at the bulb shape you will see that the # A921B is a skinnier design.

A C921 and 921 are going to be interchangeable. In fact, if you look closely as a 921 bulb #30-90-021 it does have C921 printed on it. I have included a picture for you.
