The DeeZee Specialty Series Trailer Tongue Toolbox - A-Frame - Plastic - 6 Cu Ft - Black # DZ91717P is not designed for battery use. it isn't vented for that use so if you choose to use it in that way, you will want to add a vent so you don't have issue with the gases produced under normal battery operation. You could use the Replacement Round Interior Trailer Vent for 3" Diameter Hole - Black # AVT2, # PLR24-004, or something similar to add that feature and then you'd be all set.
