The mount was easy easy to install and stable. The only slight problem was that the trailer mounting "U" bolt was a little long on the bottom as it touched the wheel when mounted. Solution, I cut 1 inch off of the bottom threads to insure it would not contact the wheel or tire. The trailer design really was the source of this slight problem.

fits my 15x5, 5x4.5 wheel. my 6x10 v nose trailer has a pretty short tongue so it barely fits. it also makes the spare the lowest hard part on my setup but it hasn't been an issue. i recommend a deep socket with a 6 inch extension on an impact to reach the nuts holding it to the frame.

That’s a clean setup, thanks for sharing the photo. Looks like you made it work really well with that shorter tongue. Good call pointing out the clearance too, that’s helpful for anyone with a similar V-nose setup. And that tip with the deep socket and extension is spot on, those can be a pain to reach otherwise. Glad to hear it’s been working without any issues. What do you usually haul with your trailer?
