How Does the Blue Ox Patriot Activate Brake Lights On 2020 Chevy Equinox With Diodes

If the Blue Ox or the Roadmaster Diode wiring kit is installed on a vehicle that require the ignition switch be in the ACC position as with a 2020 Chev Equinox AWD, what happens to the towed vehicle stop lights if it has a Patriot Brake system installed. Will the vehicles power to the stop lights control them over the RV power through the diodes and will any harm be done?

The Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System part # BLU37TR does not tie into the stop light circuit on the vehicle, it would operate independently of the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267 (Premier Models Only). The diodes would prevent both the towed vehicle and tow vehicle from both sending power to the tail lights on the towed vehicle.
