Is Stop Light Switch Required for Installation of Blue Ox Patriot in 2024 Ford F-150 XLT

Can not find a brake light switch on my 2024 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 ?? I am using a Blue Ox BRK 2022 braking system. Also purchased brake lite relay kit RM 88400. Can I use RM-751000 with the Blue Ox braking system? If yes were does the brake signal wire connect to?

Hi Tommy; according to Roadmaster the OEM brake light switch is unusable on your 2024 F-150. The Roadmaster Universal Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751000 you referenced will provide you with a usable switch. However, it is not needed with the Blue Ox # BLU37TR since it is self-contained and does not connect to the stop light switch. If you were to use this for another braking system the black wire is the ground, the red wire either runs to the fuse tap or with an in-line fuse to the battery, and the blue wire runs to the supplemental braking system.
