How to Covert my Roller Bunks to Wooden Bunks on my Boat Trailer

i have a 1700 fisherman by lund on my shorlander roller trailer. How do i convert it from roller to bunks? How do i adjust the bunks to fit boat?

This is a very easy process! If you already have rollers simply measure them and choose bunks similar to CE Smith Carpeted Bunk Boards for Boat Trailers part # CE27840 that most closely match. They will then attach to the same attachment point that the rollers used typically a bracket either welded or bolted to the trailer. There will be no issues of adjusting as these will be in the same position the rollers were.

When I install these I use short 3/4" lag bolts through the bracket into the bunk with washers if needed.

You can attach roller bunks like the #DL21741 to the top of wood bunks directly if you want. It's just a matter of running hardware through the top of the bunk and the roller bracket.

You'd want to go with the length that matches the length of the hull that can make contact with bunks. I wouldn't recommend going on the shorter side as that means more weight is concentrated on a smaller section of the bunk. I don't have…
