Installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, 2 inch trailer hitch # DT94YR on your 2020 Subaru Outback will not void the warranty.

Consumers are protected under the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. It allows aftermarket parts to be installed without warranty issues unless the install or part caused a problem. But the simple act of installing a hitch or other aftermarket part does not void the warranty.

You will want to make sure that the items you are using your hitch for, either for accessories or for towing are within the capacity of the hitch. It is best to abide by the lowest rated component of the system, and in some cases that is the capacity of the vehicle itself.
