How To Choose Electric Winch for Pulling Boat with Dolly Up Sand Dune

Question:
I’m a previous happy customer and would like to winch our zodiac up a 45’ sand dune at a 33 degree angle on a beach dolly. The zodiac and engine and dolly probably weigh 600lb total. I will have A/C power available. Which winch would you recommend that also can take a wireless remote. I plan to hook it up to a battery and some kind of charger. If you can recommend the battery and charger that would last long enough to be possibly used twice in 24 hours. Thank-you for your expertise.

In regards to choosing an electric winch, there are several factors that go into choosing the correct option. I have attached a help article which goes into more detail about each of these. The ComeUp UW-5000si Trailer Winch part # CU645010 would offer plenty of capacity and it comes with a wireless remote. The recommended battery size for this winch is 650 CCA at a minimum. The amp draw will vary by load. For a battery charger, the NOCO Genius Smart Battery Charger part # 329-GENIUS10 will be perfect.
