For your 2013 Chevy Express, the way to install a brake controller without splicing a lot of wires is to use the wiring kit # ETBC7. This will give you the brake controller wiring needed for your Hopkins controller and will connect to an existing 4-way trailer connector. You will still need to splice into the brake light wire under your dash for this installation.
If you don't want to splice into that wire, the only option is to instead use the # ETBC7L and the Curt Echo # C51180 because it doesn't require splicing at all.
