Roadmaster Invisibrake Installation in 2020 Jeep Glaidator Overland

Question:
I want to install the Roadmaster Invisibrake to my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Overland that I had previously removed from my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. I ordered and received the RM-8700 kit for a second vehicle. My issue is that I have a HVAC air duct that runs under the drivers seat. This will prevent me from installing the control unit under the drivers seat. Is there a workaroundinch for this? Thanks

Absolutely. The Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 typically installs under the driver's seat for easy accessibility but it is not the only place it can be mounted. You can mount it anywhere in your towed vehicle that is convenient for you as long as you can still access the adjustment knob. For example, we have installed that unit under the passenger side seat and in the rear cargo area for customers that preferred those locations. As long as you follow the installation instructions, the mounting location of the box is not an issue.
