I am looking to purchase a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Is this vehicle able to be set up to flat towed? If so what parts would be needed?

Yes, you can flat tow a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, so long as it is 4-wheel drive and with "4-LO Range" according to the owner's manual. If you get this version, here are the parts I recommend in order to flat tow the Grand Cherokee:
- Base Plate Kit: Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM9519291
- Tow Bar: Demco Dominator Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511008
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Supplemental Braking System: Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
OR
- For a motorhome with air brakes: Demco SBS Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motorhomes with Air Brakes # SM99243
The Demco Tabless Base Plates will keep your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee's aesthetic, with the tabs not being as visible as with other base plates, as you can see in the accompanying photo. The Dominator tow bar is great because it's light and has long arms which make it easier to maneuver when towing. It also has integrated safety cables and an adjustable tilting head so a high-low adapter won't be needed, saving you additional expenses.
The Flexo-Coil wiring kit is designed to prevent any type of electrical feedback to keep your Grand Cherokee's electrical system safe, and both the Stay-IN-Play DUO and Air Force One are strongly recommended because they are one-time installs which will never require any type of removal or reactivation, and give you braking proportional to that of your motorhome. Thank you very much for the info. We actually purchased a Overland model and was going to ask if the same set up would work. We will be getting the Airforce one braking system. Thanks for the great info and timely response.
