Question:
I am trying to wire up tail lights on a 2020 Toyota Tundra to dingy tow. A friend is telling me I need a 5to 4 wire converter. What product do you have to wire up tail lights? I already have a 4 wire ran from front of truck to 4 way plug on the rear.

The flat-tow trailer wiring harness I recommend for a 2020 Toyota Tundra is the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267 which comes with everything that you need. In regards to the converter, this won't be required. The Tundra does have a separate lighting system which means the stop and turn signals are on separate circuits. However, the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit while hooked up to the coach will just use the brake light bulb for both the stop/turn signals. If you want it to use both the brake and turn bulb then you will need a converter, the Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter
part # along with the Roadmaster Hy-Power Diodes part # RM-792.
Please note, the vehicles tail lights will still work as normal while unattached from the coach.
