Wattage Per Day for the 12V Everchill RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer

It says it uses 12V and 2.5A. Thats about 30W. But how much total power would it use in a day with outside temp of say around 75F?

The Everchill RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer # 324-000119 runs off of 12V power and uses 2.5 Amps. If the Wattage is 30 then running that for a whole day (24 hours) would be 720 Watts.

If you're trying to determine how much power you'll need a day to keep the fridge running in an off-grid (boondocking) situation then go for 720 Watts a day.

Surely that would run less than half of the time though. No fridge I know runs all the time.

@Sam Just in case people are reading this in the future, I'll shed some light based on my own testing. When the compressor is on, its ~4.5 amps. The duty cycle seems less than half the time when the RV is hot. In general, Jon G's response is about right. On cold days its closer to 500w/day watching my monitor. On hot days its closer to 900w/day. If you are on 12v lead batteries, ditch them. It was too stressful. 200ah lithium batteries and a few solar panels and your problems vanish. Propane/dual fridges have less room but they get colder much faster (it seemed anyway).
