Do You Have a Furrion Chill Cube AC Unit w/a Heat Pump?

Question:

Good evening. We’ve been searching for an RV AC setup that we could add to our 2026 Keystone Cougar fifth wheel bedroom. It has a Furrion Chill Cube 18K in the main area, which we love. I see on your site that it appears a new model is going to be released soon and will include a heat pump. Can you confirm that is occurring and that Furrion is releasing a Chill Cube 18K variable speed AC with a heat pump installed? That is great news if so. If that’s the case, when will those be available? Thank you for your time!

Hey Lars, welcome back! I can indeed confirm that the Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube air conditioner with a heat pump is indeed really happening. They are currently available for order (02/04/26) and will be shipped out towards the middle of next month. I have listed all of our options below:

Ductless - Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump -item # FR87TQ in white or item # FR77TQ in black

Ducted - Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump item # FR67TQ in white or item # FR97TQ in black

Ducted w/ a Thermostat - Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Heat Pump item # FR59TQ in white or item # FR27TQ in black

Does your Keystone's bedroom have duct work prepped for an AC system?

Our bedroom is pre wired for power and a thermostat, and is set for ducted or ductless. So we really have a good deal of options and flexibility. This is great news! Do those part numbers include the distribution boxes? And are these units controlled by remotes like the original units? Finally, is there any option to add heat to an original Chill Cube 18K ducted unit?

@LarsC The part numbers listed above include everything you need to get up and running including an air distribution box and a remote! We're excited too! This has been something we've been asked about for over a year now so there's a ton of interest! The Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Heat Pump item # FR59TQ in white or item # FR27TQ in black are the only ones that include a thermostat. They are specifically designed for a ducted setup. Sadly, a heat strip for the Furrion Chill Cube's is still not available.

@JerredH Can you tell me if the air distribution box is the same for the heat pump and non heat pump versions of the Chill Cube as long as both are ducted versions? I want to move our current (OEM installed) non-heat pump model to our front bedroom and then put a heat pump version into the main living area. Both are ducted versions. I'm just wondering if the air box currently in place for the cool only model will work with the heat pump version I just ordered or if I'll need to move that too? Same with the wall thermostat. Is that the same for both versions? Thank you!

@Lars They are indeed the same Lars! You'll be able to swap out the Chill Cube with a heat pump included with item # FR27TQ to your factory installed Chill Cube air distribution box. The thermostats are the same as well.
