just bought new 2020 Silverado 2500HD and my BandW companion OEM 5th wheel hitch that I had in my 2017 F250 superduty doesnt fit in chevy is there a way to make this work without buying a whole new hitch

I have good news, because you do not have to get an entirely new B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3710 for your 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500 with the factory puck system.
All you need to do is purchase the Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC # BWRVB3710.
You will only need the base because the head unit of the B&W Companion that fits a 2017 Ford and your 2020 Chevy is the same part. So you can simply put that on your new base and you're set.
