Blue Ox Bolt-On Base Plate Bracket Kit - 5,000 lbs Item # BX88230 Can you tell me the size of the gap between the 2 brackets that stick out, that the tow bar fits into. Cant have a gap more than 1 inch

The Blue Ox Bolt-On Base Plate Bracket Kit part # BX88230 is designed to be used with Blue Ox Tow Bars like the Blue Ox Adventurer Tow Bar part # BX7322 which has lugs that are about 5/8" thick. Therefore, the distance between the two tabs is 5/8". That said, we do have adapters that will allow you to use other tow bars as well so if you let me know what you have I can see if we have an adapter for this.
