I have a 2024 Entegra Emblem and a 2024 Chevy Equinox RS. What would be the recommended items needed to set up and flat tow the Equinox? Thank you.

Hello Dennis, thanks for reaching out. We absolutely can provide all the parts needed to flat tow your 2024 Chevy Equinox RS. Here is what I recommend:

- etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # e98965

- etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs # e34ZR

- Roadmaster Smart Diode Kit for Variable Voltage LED Tail Lights - 7-Way to 6-Way Adapter Cord # RM38FR

- Roadmaster Battery Disconnect for Towed Vehicle w/ Flat Tow Brake System - Gas Only # RM-766

- Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Braking System for RVs w/ Hydraulic Brakes - Wireless Monitor - Proportional # DM86VR

That will cover all the main components. You may end up needing a drop hitch like part # BLU28XR to compensate for any height differences between the base plate arms and the hitch on your RV. Any difference of more than 3" requires a drop hitch. If the drop hitch is used, Safety Cable Extensions # RM-910648-10 will also be needed.

I also recommend you get a cover # e76FV and hitch lock # e98881 to protect your tow bar.

As with any flat tow setup, please read over the recreational towing section of your owners manual and make sure you follow all the steps listed.

@DennisW Ok awesome! Yes I know what you mean - it is a lot to take in. Rest assured we do this all the time. It wouldn't be a stretch to say I deal with flat towing in some aspect every single day. A lot of the difficulty will be in the initial installation though, once everything is done, it will be pretty straightforward hooking up and getting ready to tow. I have provided links to a few articles that go over the basics of flat towing and all the parts involved. Also, I am right here if you have any questions on anything.
