What is Needed to Install Air Conditioner in Enclosed Car Trailer

Question:

I have a 24’x8’x7’ enclosed car trailer. I’m looking for an a/c until to install. I do not have one on the trailer now and all I have is a little vent that I can open. What do I need to install an ac unit and I’m guessing your 13,500 btu unit would be what you recommend size wise?? Thank you for your help

We can get you the air conditioning you need to keep cool in your enclosed car trailer; what you will need is a ductless AC unit with a distribution box that will control the unit as well as blow the air in, as well as a generator for a power source (if you don't have one).

I highly recommend going with a 15,000 Btu AC because of its additional cooling power which will cool your trailer down quicker, especially with a 24 foot trailer, though I will list the options for both the 13,500 Btu and 15,000 Btu. For the unit you can choose from either Black or White for color:

- 15,000 Btu: Advent Air RV Air Conditioner with Air Distribution Box and Start Capacitor # ACM150C (White) or # ACM150BC (Black)

- 13,500 Btu: Advent Air RV Air Conditioner with Air Distribution Box and Start Capacitor # ACM135C (White) or # ACM135BC (Black)
