How To Install Custom Third Brake Light Camera On 2020 Ford F-150

Question:

I stumbled across this bed camera in search of a dash cam with front and rear cameras for my 2020 F150 XLT with 8in screen. I would like to do what connection there is for the camera itself. I understand there is a switch to hookup to factory harness to switch between factory back up camera and your bed camera. I am looking to if possible hook this into my dash cam as the rear camera since my windows are too dark for internal use. Would you be able to provide camera connections pictures and wire diagram? Thanks in advance.

The Custom Third Brake Light Camera part # 3460001 which is a fit for a 2020 Ford F-150 with 8" monitor installs rather easily with only a few connections. There is a plug that ties into the factory harness and then a switch which gets run to a keyed power source. I have attached a snip of these instructions for you below.
