Can Curt Echo Brake Controller be Installed in 4-Way/7-Way Adapter and Still Work

Hi quick question, may be a silly one. Would the curt wireless brake controller work on a trailer while using the 4 flat to 7 round adapter? I am guessing not, but thought I would ask because I dont have a designated wire connecting to the adapter.

That's actually a really good question!
All the Curt Echo # C51180 needs to operate properly are the basic trailer lighting functions (found on a typical 4-Way), and then 12V power. If you already have a 4-Way/7-Way adapter like part # C57672 then all you'll need to do is run a length of 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 to a 30A Circuit Breaker # PK54530 and then to the positive battery post on your tow vehicle.
If you don't already have an adapter then you can just get the Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L which comes with everything that you need!
