Question:
Hey guys. Have a 3550 dodge ram and would like to add a bike rack One Up model to the front of truck. It appear I might need to drop the rack some to get better line of sight? With front mount hitch # 65063 what solution, if any would drop the hitch x inches or do I really need to the rack lower. What been your experience on Rams 2018. I saw one possible answer here but seems that wouldnt add enough ? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 65063 is an excellent option to haul a bike rack around with a 2018 Ram 3500. That said, the trailer hitch installs inside the front bumper so when using a bike rack there is a chance it could come up into the field of view.
Please note, if you don't want to use an adapter you can install the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C31067 which installs below the bumper so you would not need to drop the bike rack down any.
