Question:
How to I adjust the trailer mounting bolts so the fixture slides onto the bolts and the fixture stays tight to the trailer? I cant figure out how to set the bolt length so the that happens. THe fixture fits loose to the mounting bolts, and falls off when I cross a rough road.

In order to install the Optronics LED Combination Trailer Tail Lights part # TLL160RK you will first need to drill holes in the trailer or trailer light mounting bracket that align with the mounting holes on the light. The carriage bolts will then slide into the back of the housing on the light and then through the holes on the trailer/light mounting bracket. The flange nuts will then be used to tighten the light to the trailer/light mounting bracket.
I have attached an installation video on these lights for you below. That said, you need to be careful that the carriage bolts seat correctly inside the housing or else it will be very hard to secure the light without it becoming loose.
