Can Two Thule Hullavator Kayak Carriers Be Used On a 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon

I have a 2019 Subaru Outback with the stowable rack system and two thule hullavators that I wish to mount on a cross bar system. I believe the yakima system using landing pads 15, skyline towers and corebars will support more weight than a thule system plus the yakima cross bars will be spaced further apart - is this correct? The hullavators plus my two kayaks have a combined weight of 185 pounds and I want to be sure that the roof rack system is adequate. Is my yakima idea sound or would you suggest another system?

In order to use a Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier part # TH898 on a 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon you will need to install an aftermarket crossbar system as the factory crossbar system doesn't have the required overhang needed. That said, you'd only be able to install one Hullavator on the roof as two would require a very large crossbar and this is not recommended by Thule anyway. Therefore, you'd need a different carrier for the other kayak and for this I recommend the etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier part # e98878.
For an aftermarket crossbar system, the Yakima CoreBar Crossbar System part # Y00421,part # Y53TR, and part # Y00241 is an excellent option and will provide you with a 165 lb weight capacity which is the most available for a Subaru Outback.
