In order to add a 5-way trailer connector to a 2020 Hyundai Palisade you will first need to start with a 4-way, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # CU94FR then you can convert this to a 5-way with the Tow Ready 4 Pole to 5 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter part # 20036. The blue wire will need to be spliced into the vehicle's reverse light circuit because this is what triggers the brakes to release so the trailer can reverse. In order to secure the 5-way you will need both part # C58303 and part # 18140.
Since you already have the 4-way, you would just need the adapter and mounting brackets.
