Speaker 1: Today, we're gonna take a look at the Curt Mounting Bracket for the five-way flat trailer connector. Now, this sturdy steel bracket will let you mount a five-way flat trailer connector on your vehicle. It allows for attachment to the vehicle or to the trailer hitch. It is constructed of a sturdy steel, does resist corrosion with a durable black powder coat finish, and includes your mounting hardware for installing this. I did happen to pull this, an example of the five-way connector that'll fit in here, and basically, instead of having this hanging down on your vehicle, you can just push it right in, it's made size-wise. To push right in, and hold it right into place, then you can have this mounted on the back.

I would have given five stars instead of four if it would have better corrosion protection. My last one rusted out in five years.
However, it does it's intended job well and the price is reasonable.
Not a lot of options for 5-wire plugs, but this one works great.
Great way to mount connector and protect it from damage. Wished it had a clip to keep it from pushing out when connecting.

Only thing placed order for the flat 4 plug wiring harness and order wrong bracket saw it order it was the 5 flat .Wish who ever package saw it was wrong and placed the correct one. MY BAD
My curt plug in wire fit perfect in curt support bracket. I used 2 sip ties to hold it in perfect position. Locks & works great
Will do. Thanks. Btw, had to shave a little rubber off the sides of a connector to fit it through the drain hole in my 2016 Highlander. Otherwise, straight forward and looks good! See attached...
All the parts were included and they fit right into my Towpower hitch. I do wish there was something a bit more robust to hold the connector in place other than the teeth on the bracket. If I really push down on the connector when attaching the trailer harness the plug recesses a bit and I need to pull it back through.
Maybe it's user error because I don't see a way to use the two unfinished screws that are included. If that's the case though, it would have been nice to include a small set of installation instructions (there are none) to clarify.
Overall though, happy with the purchase and this looks a lot better than a harness dangling by a zip-tie!
