Question:

Is there a replacement lock cylinder that you can purchase for PAL5500 that is BOLT Lock compatible so I can use my trucks keys? Similar to the type of lock cylinder on part #PAL85410? I bought a truck recently with PAL5500 installed with no keys. Id like to replace the cylinder if possible and use my trucks keys instead of buying separate replacement keys.

Yes! We've got exactly what you're looking for with the Replacement Lock Core for Pop & Lock Tailgate Lock # PL5400CONV. This replaces the existing lock core on your Pop & Lock Custom Locking Manual Tailgate Handle # PAL5500, which fits and codes to the 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma's factory ignition key.

If you didn't already have the # PAL5500, you'd instead want to go with # PAL5400, which is the same manual tailgate lock, but it already includes the BOLT lock cylinder for your Tacoma.
