Yes, all of the hitches we carry for your 2020 Audi Q7 require fascia trimming. The Curt, part # C13277 has the least amount of trimming. I've attached pictures that show how much trimming is needed for each hitch.

Despite the Curt requiring less trimming I prefer the Stealth hitches for your Audi. The appearance after the hitch is installed is a lot nicer in my opinion. With the Curt you see the receiver opening all the time and you can even kind of see the area that was trimmed. With the Stealth hitches you don't see anything at all unless you're using the hitch because the receiver tube is removable.

There are two versions of the Stealth hitch; part # 391AUDQ716T is rated for towing and includes a 7-way trailer wiring connector if you're going to tow with your Audi and part # 391AUDQ716 is for carrying bike racks or other carriers. The latter isn't rated to tow a trailer and doesn't include any wiring since you won't need it.
