Hello, Im buying a bike rack for SUV car for the first time and looking for an economy option for 1-2 bikes. I was hoping you could tell me if this bike rack would work for my car, whether i need to buy any other parts it looks like i need to get a part called hitch receiver, or maybe there are other models of tilt-away bike racks that youd recommend. As long as you had a hitch installed on your 2014 BMX X6 like the Curt part # 13077 which is a confirmed fit the Curt bike rack part # C18085 would fit and work well. For a tilting bike rack, it's really hard to beat this rack for the money. If you were looking for something entry-level that will still get the job done this would be a really great option!
