Question:
Hello, I have a 2012 Keystone Cougar Xlite fifth wheel, with tandem Dexter D44 axles. I assume these are 4400# axles. Dry weight of RV is 7400, gross 10K. Will these springs fit? what upgrades do you recommend for the equalizer, shackles, and bushings? Thanks,

In order to find the right replacement leaf springs, you will need to raise the trailer up and take some measurements on one of the existing springs. This type of information isn't typically provided by trailer manufacturers and it's not something that can be determined by the axle capacity (many different leaf spring lengths could be used with 4,400 pound tandem axles).
With all the weight lifted off the leaf springs, you will just need to measure their length (from the center of one "eye" to the center of the other) and width. If you can tell me the dimensions you get I will be happy to recommend the right replacement.
Just as an example, the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e28SR you were looking at measures 25-1/4" from eye to eye and has a 1-3/4" width. It's designed for 5,000 pound axles, although that doesn't necessarily mean it couldn't be used with your 4,400 pound units.
If you are wanting to upgrade your equalizers I really like the Dexter E-Z Flex System # K71-652-00, which includes the needed bolts and shackles. These equalizers feature a rubber core that isolates and absorbs road shock before they reach the trailer frame. They are designed for an axle spacing of 33", so if this matches what you have and the 5-5/8" width on the equalizers themselves is similar to your existing components this will work really well. We also have part # K71-653-00 that's designed for 35" axle spacing.
I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
