My rain sensor doesn’t seem to be working and closing the lid when it rains. When the red light is on that means the rain sensor is off correct?

Yes when your red light is on your rain sensor is turned off. I reached out to my contact at MAXXAir and we were able to determine the most likely cause of this issue is a faulty rain sensor. We have that available for order on our website as part # MA34FR. He explained that it is a simple replacement process and will get you up and running again.
