If you are looking for an a-frame electric trailer jack for a horse trailer with living quarters, you are going to want to go with a heavy-duty option because of the heavy tongue on the trailer. The heavier you go, the longer the jack will last as it does not have to work as hard and the faster it will extend and retract.
The Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack part # JET-5000 is what I recommend because of the 5,000 lb weight capacity. That said, you could go with the Electric Jack w/ Footplate part # EJ-3527-BBX that you were looking at but it would not be as fast or last nearly as long for the reasons stated above. The Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack uses the standard mounting pattern, has an integrated light, and a bubble level built into the top of the head for ease of use. There is also a drop leg which again ties into ease of use and the time it takes to raise and lower the trailer.
