Replacement Mounting Hardware for Thule Adventurer Cargo Box to Use on Wider Cross Bars

Question:
Hello, Can you recommend some hardware that would allow me to mount an older Adventurer roof box on wide roof rails? Someone else mentioned the TH04997 might work. Ive attached a picture of the stock u-bolts. Thanks for any help.

The Thule Replacement QM3 Brackets # TH04997 has mounting holes 4" (center on center) apart, so they're going to fit much wider crossbars than your current brackets which only allow for bars around 2" wide and are designed for square bars. The QM3 brackets are the perfect solution as long as your current cross bars are no more than 3-11/16" wide, so I recommend measuring to confirm the width of your current bars.
It should also be noted that the QM3 brackets are designed to fit on the Thule Adventurer Cargo Box, but do not fit on the Thule Adventurer ES models.
