How Does the Thule Adventurer Cargo Box Install Using the QM3 - Quick Mount Hardware

Hi, We just acquired a thule adventurer cargo box. W have a VW routan. It is a 2009 Do you any advice or what to suggest on how to fit this to the factory installed roof rack. Thanks!

I can certainly help you out. The hardware used on the Thule Adventurer is # TH04997 that you have referenced. There is a specific order in which all of the parts will go on the crossbars. I have included a picture that shows how all of the parts go together to fit around a crossbar. If the crossbars on your Routon are 3-5/8 inches or less wide then the hardware will fit.
